So I want to come back to update as you were all so good to respond.
Well, he’s been a busy young man and has put himself out there.
He went to Cars & Coffee at the weekend with my DD1 and a school friend that he decided to reconnect with after some prompting from me.
He was at a match the weekend before with the same friend he reconnected with and went to the local pub on Friday night with DD1 and met a lovely girl who is car mad also.
Now my DD1 thinks she’s Cilla Black with all the arranging but she was great to rope in people so that her cousin could meet up with someone. Now after this we’ve said it’s up to him but it’s a great start! He better remember me when it’s my birthday lol

Thanks Ali, he only needed a push. It has made my sister so happy to see him head out that it’s wort it’s weight in gold

Aw this is lovely just reading through it now, would also echo if he's into cars to help marshaling at events as they are always looking for people. Great update, sounds like things are looking up!

Awe thanks ladies, I’m delighted for him. DD is great to him, she traveled to the cars and coffee venue from college which was two hours away from her and organised her boyfriend and friends to meet at the local in his area.
