Yes definitely not all medical professionals offer advice on how to taper off antidepressant such as Lexapro very gradually and safely
Glad you had a wonderful relaxing sun holiday and I do think we all have a bit of holiday blues returning to reality
Fresh air does me the world of good and reading a good book I love too
Maybe find your relaxing pick up too be it yoga meditation etc
Do go back to your GP to have a review of your medication too
Good luck

I wouldn’t worry about tapering or having coming off as nearly a goal. Some are just needed & are grand to be on all the time.

Yes that’s true Ralley I’ve been on Lexapro for a long time and the GP is happy for me to stay on them long term as that’s personally what I need
Sometimes it’s just the wrong time in your life to come off them

I definitely believe this as I know from experiences with family members that for some people, their lives are much better when they are on their medication. We seem to have a bit of abhorrence about staying on mental health medication in comparison to other long term medication for physical issues. There is no shame to me about staying on a medication that makes you feel better and more able to cope with life.
