H wants to go to work
H wants to go to work
One of our kids has Covid. H will not listen to reason. He thinks he is being the great guy going to work tomorrow. I've told him noone will thank him. Refuses to listen. He is boosted.
I've told him that he's being awful not giving his customers a choice in the matter as they won't know.
As usual, I am "toxic" and wrong.
I've posted about him before so I know he is a tosser but I just wanted to vent

You're not toxic or wrong.
He's not a great guy.
You can't physically prevent him I guess but I'm sorry you have to put up with all of the above.

Re: H wants to go to work
If it gets out in the community it could do the business serious reputational damage. He could infect colleagues, cause staff shortages and closure.
Ireland is a small place and our kids inevitably tell their friends who tell their parents.

That is bang out of order and so disrespectful towards his customers.
Mind you, a few weeks ago, I’m pretty sure that it was allowed so that’s probably why he feels justified.
However, that was before the highly transmissible Omicron variant hit.
Re: H wants to go to work
It’s awful when you can have no say in it and yet you are the one that is feeling all the guilt and anger when he goes around not giving a toss.
If it’s any consolation to you I know of a few people doing the same cos it’s only a little sniffle now blah blah blah. Unfortunately it’s usually never their door it comes to causing serious harm but it might to someone else.
Seriously fed up of people not doing the right thing by others and only thinking of themselves!
Feel for you but looks like there is nothing you can do to stop him

Sure only worry about that which you can control. You can't control him and his choices however dumb they are

Ah we aren’t boostered more than 7 days ago.
Re: H wants to go to work
Not sure what RM means but is it not isolating for 5 days from last contact? So if it is a child who is not isolating from the rest of the family then it would be much longer? (17 days?)
