Well I’m just so proud of my kids, they went into school smiling, well ds almost smiling. Stomach pains have disappeared and for the first time in 13 weeks he said he was excited about going to school. I just feel enormous relief right now, I can actually breath.

Great update Viola. The fact that the school didn't share the information with the other teachers proves to me you made the right decision to remove your children. It would be standard practice that all teachers are made aware of any bullying situation (and usually parents are made aware of this fact). The principal sounds like what I call old school where he prefers to ignore situations and loose pupils rather than go to the bother of dealing with them. You can look forward to them coming home this afternoon knowing you have done the right thing.

Sorry didn’t get to update, ended up in A&E with my 2 yr old, came home with a cast almost the length of her leg.
Anyway, kids got on brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Ds said it felt like being at home he was that comfortable there. Dd said her class were all so lovely and welcoming.
Ds had a breakthrough in play therapy tonight too, his therapist was that happy she text me afterwards to tell me he is such a brave and strong boy, I’m bursting with pride.

You are a great mother Viola. All of this has been so difficult for you (and your son of course). It is so hard to stand up to "the System" when people are telling you that everything is fine. You know your child best. I firmly believe that if you trust your gut, your basic instinct, you won't go wrong. Really so happy for you all.
