I wouldn't at 15 either, I've thought about it for a few mins and my 14 year is sitting in the room with me. At 16 I'd review and at 17 I'd be more lax because that's the age I was when I took that step with my boyfriend and I was very ready.

I would say no because she is 15. What if she and this girl split up and she meets another girl and so on. Will she think it's ok to stay with them too? She is far too young to be sleeping over with her girlfriend.

I'd say no totally because of her age

I don't think it matters whether she has a boyfriend or girlfriend she's just too young

Girls, thanks so much for all the feedback.

I’m delighted she’s open with me to tell me what’s going on. I don’t want to cross a line though, and embarrass her looking for details!

Her grandparents are closet homophobes. I could be starting a whole new thread when they figure this out :crazy1:

Bet they turn out to be her biggest cheerleaders when/if she does come out
Never under any circumstances take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

While my initial reaction was that at least she can't get pregnant I then thought about it again. If she is the eldest then you need to set whatever ground rules you want to have for all of your kids regardless of their partners. So if it was a boy and your gut is No, then you have to say no. I wouldn't be comfortable with a child having sex regardless of with whom at 15.
