My first work conference was a disaster !

I think if you mess up the best thing to do is to put your hand up and admit it, apologise, possibly come up with a strategy as to how to avoid it in the future and then move on. We've all made mistakes in work. I can remember a huge one I made...well the mistake was tiny but the consequences were big. However I put my hand up, followed through as I mentioned above and in the end got praise for owning the mistake and fixing it etc.

If you think it will make you feel better then do as above, if you think it will make you feel worse then just try to put it out of your mind and move on. I presume you weren't at the GOP conference or something like that and aren't a world leader so by now everyone will have forgotten about it and so should you.

Hi everyone, you are all great. Really put things into perspective for me. Have heard nothing so far but it has been absolute bedlam, so busy so I guess there has been no chance yet !
