Work issue...

by Workanon » Thu Apr 19, 2018 3:25 pm

Regular gone anon. I have been job sharing for 3 years, 3 days per week.

Unfortunately, I have been off quite a bit but I finally got a diagnosis and I shared this with my Manager and Director. Both were really understanding and told me there will never be an issue, etc. My manger, who I get on really well with was rreally understanding.

I work late when needed. This has happened a lot lately. I was very ill yesterday but went to work.

Had to see GP this morning in relation to my illness and he said I needed to stay home.

I emailed my boss and said I was ill but if there was anything pressing, I would come in in the afternoon.

He replied "fine"

I asked had something urgent come up and he said "not at the minute but you know how it is"?

I said ok, shall I come in?

He said "look, I am not telling you to come in" it's up to you,

I didn't respond.

Don't know what to get from this, to be honest.
